Gojek- The Flow

It is an ad that befits the ambition of Indonesian tech company, Gojek, and conveys the seamless integration of multiple services under its super app.  It is also one of the most mind-blowing commercials of the year, especially in the way that it was visualised and filmed. 

Consider these facts: it involved building a set to give the feel of a city, it engaged around 200 extras, and it features cars and bikes driving on walls, with very little use of CGI.  What’s more, three days before the shoot, part of the set was destroyed by a hurricane and had to be rebuilt.  And in case you’re wondering, it was shot in the middle of this year, “practicing thorough sanitisation and observing social distancing throughout the shoot”.
