Chicken-flavoured cookies

As reported by Dexerto:

Oreo China has partnered with KFC to transform the fast-food chain’s signature fried chicken flavor into a sandwich cookie.

The cookies retain Oreo’s classic chocolate wafers but replace the familiar sweet creme with a filling designed to recreate the salty, seasoned taste of KFC’s Original Recipe fried chicken.

One side of each cookie is also stamped with KFC’s logo in place of the traditional Oreo branding. The boxes use KFC’s recognizable red-and-white color scheme and feature fried chicken alongside a stack of cookies.

Bodycare… inspired by Pepsi

To quote from a news report:

Pepsi is leaving the drinks aisle and heading for the bathroom. The brand has teamed up with US cosmetics company Glamlite on its first-ever body care collection, translating two familiar soda-inspired flavors into products designed for the shower rather than the fridge.

The launch includes just two products: a Vanilla Slushie Body Scrub and a Wild Cherry Body Wash, both priced at $12.

The Vanilla Slushie scrub combines mineral exfoliants with glycerin, while the Wild Cherry wash includes niacinamide, shea butter and a fruit-acid complex.

The vest features a front chest pocket, allowing you to monitor your progress at a glance. A bejewelled reminder to check your crown jewels

I’ll let this report explain:

A leading testicular cancer charity has unveiled a pair of jewel-encrusted “Crown Jewels” on a plush velvet cushion to remind men that their most valuable assets need checking.

Housed in a museum-style glass case, complete with curator’s notes, the installation reimagines Britain’s most famous valuables with a cheeky twist designed to raise awareness and start conversations.

The brainchild of cancer charity The OddBalls Foundation, the sparkling pair was painstakingly created over two months by mixed media artist Quentin Devine who set more than 500 individual high grade crystal stones by hand to create the priceless ‘object de art’.

KitKat shows off high-security escort convoy

It’s a new campaign for KitKat Canada  that builds on the strangeness of last month’s heist of a consignment of chocolate bars in Italy.  First, it released a ‘hiring notice’ for professional security guards.  Next, there was the spectacle of a KitKat delivery truck, seen across Toronto, flanked by black security vehicles.

Butt-side luggage carousel

As explained in this press release by pet food brand, Iams:

This spring break and beyond, the IAMS brand is delivering a can’t-miss reminder to travelers that while they might be dreaming of smooth travels, their pets deserve “smooth deliveries” of their own.

Travelers who went through Orlando Sanford International Airport through March 29 were greeted with a truly unmissable sight: a billboard strategically placed above and over the baggage claim carousel featuring a humorous lineup of oversized pet rears. The hilariously accurate take on pet digestion celebrates the benefit of prebiotic fiber in your dog’s or cat’s diet, which starts with the science-backed nutrition of the IAMS PROACTIVE 5 benefit system.

Flushable Magazine

As announced on LinkedIn by one of the people behind the idea:

Introducing PORCELAIN, the world's first flushable magazine.

30 pages of entertaining editorial designed to be enjoyed on the throne, printed on Cushelle toilet paper, with each page perforated for easy tearing. Read, tear, wipe and flush.

As explained in one report, with more context:

More hygienic than looking at your phone, the idea stems from research showing that nearly three-quarters of Brits regularly retreat to the bathroom for a few minutes of peace. It’s a habit that runs especially strong in busy households – around a third of parents and a quarter of partners admit they regularly lock the door just to get a moment to themselves.

With one in six people saying reading is a key part of that ritual, Publicis London saw an opportunity to combine two bathroom essentials into one. Every page of Porcelain is perforated, so you can read it, tear it out, use it and flush it. And the text is printed with skin-safe, flush-friendly ink on Cushelle’s famously soft paper, so your bottom won’t complain.

It’s also a clever bit of sampling. Cushelle say that once people actually feel the softness, they’re sold. The trick is getting it into their hands in the first place. Porcelain does that by putting the product directly in front of influencers and their audiences using a format they’ll actually engage with. Hence, the magazine, which itself runs to 30 pages of tongue-in-cheek content, all written and “edited” by Kenny the Koala, Cushelle’s brand mascot. Expect parody adverts, a crossword dubbed the ‘softword’, and plenty of bathroom humour throughout.

Finally, a magazine that’s honest about where most reading gets done.
